A Best Friend, An Angel for Life...
Look who's just turned up in our sock drawer! It's 10 pounds of adorable love in a package as soft as cashmere. Meet Bobby Socks, a handsome 8 year old male Yorkie who was found in Manhattan by a Good Samaritan, just standing in front of her apartment building. He was on his own and looking for help. Thankfully for Bobby Socks, he had come to just the right place, demonstrating that he is blessed both with high intellect as well as great instincts. His finder took him to a vet immediately, who diagnosed Bobby Socks as being in congestive heart failure. The fact that he had been stranded on the sidewalk in sweltering heat with no water for a protracted period had only worsened his condition. Bobby Socks remained at the vet for several days of treatment while his finder posted flyers around the neighborhood and also in area veterinary offices. Of course no one came forward, signifying that Bobby Socks had been dumped (like some bag of old clothes, simply deemed expendable). Bobby Socks has now bounced back with treatment and is on three different heart medications. He is doing very well. Bobby Socks is a friendly, loving and smart little dog who is sure to steal your heart. He has been neutered, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. We are currently seeking either a permanent foster or an adoptive home for Bobby Socks (in the case of foster we will continue to cover his medical). Bobby Socks will be professionally groomed before his placement and will be sporting a new leash and collar at the time of going home. It's time to expand the sock drawer, so move over Spanx and make way with your Wolford, it's time to add some Bobby Socks!
