Buddy is a handsome 3 year old purebred male Cocker Spaniel with a gorgeous chocolate coat. Buddy comes to us via German Shepherd Rescue, having been surrendered by his family due to snapping in relation to food (he was protective of a piece of bread). Accordingly, Buddy will need adult only placement. We are told that he is partial to women and not so keen on men, so if there are males in the picture they will need to be very patient and win Buddy's trust with time. Buddy is great with other dogs and also loves to play fetch. He has good house manners (no begging, even at dinnertime) and is fully crate trained. Buddy is a healthy dog who has been neutered, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. He will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. Buddy is available either for foster or adoption.
