Time for a Christmas Cookie ... meet our Cookie, who's a little bit of sugar and spice and everything nice. In fact she couldn't be sweeter! Cookie is a pale buff purebred Cocker Spaniel just 8 years old. Cookie comes to us from Animal Care and Control of NYC, where she was turned in as an owner surrender. This family did not have her very long, just a couple of months, so her prior background is unknown. Wherever she came from it could not have been good. Cookie arrived in rescue horribly matted looking as though she'd survived an ordeal. Despite it all, she is a very sweet girl with no behavioral issues who gets along well with everyone and should make an excellent family pet. Cookie is a healthy girl who has been spayed, microchipped, is current on all shots and has been tested for heartworm. She has just been treated to a professional grooming and will receive a dental cleaning prior to going home.
