UPDATE FROM LIMON'S FOSTER MOM: This is my silly foster dog! She is sweet as pie with a wiggly waggy butt. She is gentle and friendly with other dogs and defers to my 8 year old yorkie boy. Like all cocker spaniels she is crazy about tennis balls, and has a very healthy appetite (which includes lettuce!) She is also perfectly housebroken. In fact the only naughty thing miss limon does is try to enjoy the smorgasbord of dropped food on manhattan sidewalks!
Limon is a very pretty black and white purebred female Cocker Spaniel just five years old. Limon comes to us as an owner surrender following the birth of a newborn child and ongoing issues with a toddler in the home who simply would not leave poor Limon alone. Although raised with a lot of love, as she was wilting under the stress of life with multiple young children (and herself not getting enough attention), her family thought it best to re-home her. Limon is a healthy girl who has been spayed, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. She has just been treated to a dental cleaning as well as to a professional grooming and will be sporting a new leash and collar at the time of going home. Limon should do just fine in a home with older kids who are somewhat dog experienced and understand that a pet is not a toy. As she is good with other dogs, Limon could easily join a multiple pet household. To adopt Limon, please email , or click here to complete and return an on-line application. Limon is wise enough to know that, when life comes up lemons, it's time to turn them into Limonade.
