Meet Mama, a very sweet and friendly 8 year old purebred Cocker Spaniel who can best be described as perfect. Her behavior and disposition are exemplary, such that she's a poster child for her breed. Poor Mama found herself surrendered to Animal Care and Control of NYC due to cost, her owner finding herself unable to provide for Mama any longer. Although she is a mature dog, Mama is nevertheless a healthy girl. She has been spayed, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. She will be treated to a dental cleaning as well as to a professional grooming prior to her placement and will be sporting a new leash and collar at the time of going home.
