Megan is a pale buff purebred senior Cocker Spaniel roughly 10 years old, who comes to us from the Staten Island Shelter, where she was turned in as a stray. Sadly, she is one of a large number of senior spaniels to have recently passed through the shelter system, and for whom there were no takers. Rescue is their only hope. Megan is an exceptionally sweet girl who will make an excellent family dog. She has a lovely and very gentle disposition. Although she is an older dog, Megan is in good health. She has been spayed, microchipped, is current on shots, and has tested heartworm negative. She has also been treated to a dental cleaning as well as a professional grooming and will go home with a new leash and collar. Megan is currently seeking either adoptive or foster placement. If you can offer her a place called home, please email and request an application. Megan is waiting to hear from you!
