Meet Nama, a handsome 7 year old purebred Cocker Spaniel, who has been searching for love for quite a long while. Nama is a special needs boy who came to us with such badly infected ears that TECA surgery was his only option. Nama has largely lost his hearing as a result but the outcome for him on the whole has been good. He is no longer in any pain and can now put his best foot forward and go on with life. Nama is otherwise a healthy boy who has been neutered, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. He has been treated to a dental cleaning as well as a professional grooming and will be sporting a new leash and collar at the time of going home. While Nama will fare best in an adult only household, he would love to share the home with another dog or two, as he is very sociable and enjoys being a part of the pack. If you would like to adopt or foster Nama, please email or click here to complete and return an application on-line. Experience with deaf dogs (or special needs animals) would be helpful but is by no means required to take Nama home. A compassionate heart and desire to help a dog in need are the only real essentials.
