Tiny is a very pretty and petite female Cocker Spaniel just 3 years old who arrived in rescue from a local kill shelter on Christmas Eve. Her story reminds us very much of Dickens. In fact, when she landed on our doorstep, we could almost hear her piping "God bless us, every one!" just like Tiny Tim. On behalf of homeless dogs everywhere this holiday season, we would like to second the sentiment! How sad for any family to dump their pet in a kill pound, particularly at Christmas. While the ordeal has left Tiny somewhat shy and nervous, she is now adjusting to her changed circumstances and looking forward to the New Year. A generous portion of Christmas Turkey with all the trimmings has certainly helped her to feel much better. Tiny is a healthy girl who has been spayed, microchipped, is current on all shots, and has tested negative for heartworm. She will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you would like to adopt Tiny, please email and request an application. As in the case of any fresh start, it all begins with a Tiny first step.
