A Best Friend, An Angel for Life...
Walter and Bentley are purebred Cocker Spaniels who come to us following a tragedy. Walter is a black male, about 4 years old, and Bentley is a buff boy, around age 6. Walter and Bentley were given to rescue following their owner's suicide, the man having grown distraught over a girlfriend. The dogs were later retrieved from a hotel room, where the owner had left them in safety. Although the dogs were initially quite stressed, they are starting to settle down nicely. But for some minor issues typical to the breed (such as mild ear infections) they are both healthy boys. We believe they will make good family dogs but that any kids in the home should be older and also dog experienced. Walter and Bentley have been neutered, microchipped, are current on all shots and have tested negative for heartworm. They will both be treated to dentistry as well as to a professional grooming and will be sporting new leashes and collars at the time of going home. Ideally we are hoping to place Walter and Bentley together. If you would like to adopt both dogs, please click here to submit an online application or email to request one. Walter and Bentley are currently safe in foster care but are seeking forever placement.
